RAISING A MORE BEAUTIFUL WORLD

Two children playing in the dark as the sun has almost disappeared.

Everyone either is or was someone’s child. Obviously. But as injustice, violence, and conflicts flare up in our world, we often forget that the perpetrators were once children who didn’t get the love, education, and security they needed in life. We sometimes forget about or turn a blind eye to children who are victims of whatever their parents, communities, or authorities have wrought.

As we think about our children, whether they are our own or they were born to someone else, somewhere else, we consider a world in which children’s bodies, minds and hearts are truly nurtured, celebrated, encouraged, and protected.

“A baby is born with a need to be loved – and never outgrows it.” --  Frank A. Clark.

Racism, war, inequality, discrimination, abuse, all go away if children are raised with care, respect, and love.
