The Turtle Bay Resort, in Kahuku, Hawaii enjoys exclusivity on Oahu’s spectacular scenic North Shore. It just completed a major renovation of its luxury beachfront cottages and its Nalu Kinetic Spa, all sitting on over 840 acres of natural landscape on the edge of Kuilima Point.

With a new focus on sustainability, the resort’s lower rooftops now hold a 59,000-square-foot landscaped native plant and rock garden, to accent your view and save energy.  

Watch the giant waves roll in right from your beds, while listening to the sounds of the ocean. 

Explore the resort’s 12 miles of nature trails, coves, beaches, and forests, where the TV series “Lost” was filmed. Check out the Hans Hedemann Surf School, horse stables, and 36-hole golf course.

A paradox of strict austerity and luxe comfort, Lanserhof Tegernsee is an over-the top new medi-spa at the foothills of the Bavarian mountains near Lake Tegern, in Tegernsee, Germany.

It offers hardcore therapies developed by Austrian scientist and pioneering holistic therapist Franz Xaver Mayr.

The 21,000 square metres larchwood and glass complex was designed by award-winning architect Christoph Ingenhoven with landscape design by Enzo Enea.

Detox and restart in style, surrounded by plush angora rugs, velvet lounges, and cocoon beds. The medical wing looks like it’s from outer space, while the heated outdoor saltwater pool and glass-fronted saunas overlook the magnificent valley.

Aman Sveti Stefan is a spectacular new wellness center on a 32-hectare estate, on the island of Sveti Stefan, off the coast of Montenegro.  

Edged with pink sand beaches with endless views of the sea, this is a beautiful place to come to reset your clock.

The spa offers treatments, using its own chemical-free range of spa products made from more than 650 recognized medical species of wild herbs harvested locally. 

From oat milk rehydration soaks, to mint and olive oil exfoliations, from calming lavender and palmarosa massages, to rejuvenating hydrotherapies, you will enjoy the process of restarting your body, mind, and spirit.

Ani Villas Sri Lanka is a new resort that sits atop a bluff on a private white sand beach on the central south coast, with a panoramic view of sea. Created by architect Reda Amalou and AW2 of Paris, it sports contemporary tropical architecture with luxe bespoke finishes and furnishings.

And, when you need a break from all of that, get out for some whale watching, surfing, a visit to one of Sri Lanka’s animal reserves, a tea tasting at a nearby plantation and a view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Galle.

The spa at the sparkling newly renovated Hotel El Ganzo, in San Jose del Cabo, Puerto Los Cabos, offers lovely indigenous treatments such as their exfoliating and hydrating Damiana Flower Treatment, as well as their detoxifying Mezcal Ritual, with agave scrub, mezcal lotion massage, and desert clay purification process.

The Zemi Thai House Spa resides in an authentic Thai House that was transported from Thailand to Anguilla in the 1980s. It is the highlight of the Zemi Beach Resort, set to open in February 2016, on one of the world’s best beaches, the powdery Shoal Bay East, in Anguilla.
