WILDER WALES

The wildest most beautiful landscapes in Wales beckon from the page of Wilder Wales, a new coffee table book, with breathtaking photos by Drew Buckley and fascinating text by Julian Rollins, published by Graffeg.

Buckley, an esteemed landscape and wildlife photographer, and Rollins, a top environmental writer stoke our wanderlust as they present the dramatic variation of Welsh countrysides.

From the craggy uplands of Snowdonia to the rugged beauty of the Pembrokeshire islands, Wales is blessed with more than its fair share of natural wonders.

Rollins and Buckley visited a twelve of the Wales’ key wildlife locations - one each month, over the course of a year. The book shares their experiences as the months unfold. It also shares rich and useful information about where, when and how we can best travel across Wales, to experience its wild beauty in real life.

Puffins, dolphins, grey seals, and black grouse, like you’ve never seen or imagine them, show off the incredible essence of their lives as they make their way through the seasons. The book is a gorgeous nature’s almanac. This new compact edition also offers a portable and practical travel guide.

In addition to Rollins’ glorious photos, from Welsh mountains, valleys, coastlines and seascapes, to ruined castles and abandoned monasteries, there are delightful tales to enjoy.
