Especially Puglia is essentially an international CSA that brings the best single-source extra virgin olive oil and artisanal pantry products from Puglia’s independent organic farms to right to home tables.
Located on Italy’s sunny southern coast, Puglia is one of the country’s most fertile regions. It is especially celebrated for the quality and abundance of its olive trees.
You can choose oil from specific farms, like you might choose wine from a particular vineyard. For example, the picturesque Castel Fiorentino Grove, owned by the D’Achino family, grows fruity Leccino and Peranzana olives on their 150 trees. The olives are hand-picked and milled within six hours in the farm’s own oil mill.
