BEAUTIFUL BEASTS AS FOOD ART
Today, Beautiful Beasts are on the menu. Though jaw-dropping, these are meant for visual consumption only. Check out these spectacular wild artworks, based on food.
THE ANIMAL FOOD ART of CARL KLEINER
Carl Kleiner is known mainly as a Swedish still-life photographer… but he is a wonderful sculptor too. One of his passions: sculpting animals, using food as his sole medium.
Kleiner has produced extraordinary images for Ikea, X Y / Goran Kajfes and Cafe M - Beirut.

CHAYOTE & GINGER RUDOPLH & REINDEER
We don’t know much about this work, the artist who made it, or anything other than the key ingredients: ginger and chayote. But they are so beautiful and quirky, that we had to include them.
Note: If anyone knows who made these, give us a shout out, so we can give them a shout out!
WHAT CAME FIRST? by KYLE BEAN
‘What Came First?’ is a fabulous eggshell sculpture by Kyle Bean, a Brighton based designer that specializes in hand crafted models, prop styling and art direction.
Kyle’s work is usually characterised by a whimsical and meticulous reappropriation of everyday materials and handcrafted techniques.
LATTE CAT by KAZUKI YAMAMOTO

SCALLION CAT
We admit, this one is very kitschy… but it is rather beautiful. Kind of a cartoon Majollica. By Enesco.
